French toast!

I love French toast it took me years to figure out how to get the bread to stay together. NEVER USE thin bread because of the milk and egg it’s going to make the bread tear apart. So ALWAYS go for thick bread slices when making French toast. With this French toast you don’t need butter. The buttermilk gives it taste like I buttered the bread (which I didn’t). If you’re thinking ewwww fiber it’s NOT NASTY! It’s called fiber brunch because berries are filled with fiber and the thickest bread we have is our fiber bread, which is good. If you’re on a diet this is really great for you because you need to have all your carbs in the morning so you can burn them off throughout the day. And all of the fiber is good for you regardless. Your getting protein, grains and fruit from this meal!

Fiber brunch for one
Flaxseed French toast with honey berry and yogurt topping (optional)
¼ cup buttermilk
¼ cup non fat milk
Egg white
3 slices of fiber bread or thick bread
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon all spice
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon vanilla
½ teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon of flaxseed
½ cup of thawed berries
¼ cup honey
¼ cup yogurt

Egg scramble
1 eggs
½ cup of spinach
¼ cup of bell peppers
¼ onions
1 teaspoon curry
1/4  teaspoon sea salt

First whisk the milk and egg white add your seasonings and vanilla
Let it stand for 5 minutes
If you need to slice whatever berries you’re using do that and add ¼ cup of honey to the berries
Spray your pan with olive oil cooking spray or whatever kind of cooking spray you have turn it up to medium high heat
After the 5 minutes are up dunk the bread into the milk mixture make sure the bread is coated and is soaked with the milk mixture
Place your soaked slices of bread in your pan and flip them every 5 minutes until they are cooked how you like them
Now to the eggs
Wash your veggies cut them up throw them in the bowl with your eggs throw in your curry and sea salt mix it all up and cook them how you like your eggs
When your French toast is done place them on your plate add a teaspoon of flaxseed to the berry and honey mixture stir it up and pour the mixture over your French toast if you want some yogurt put it on top of your berry mixture

Relationship advice : should couples have rules

I think couples should have rules and im sure Isiah and I aren't the only couple that have rules. We have three simple important rules to help us maintain our relationship especially now that he has moved out of state but that's another post. I hope our rules can help you feel free to leave comments, email me or follow me :)

Rule 1 you have to trust each other.
If you don’t want “rules” in your relationship you should at least have this one rule. If you don’t have trust then it’s just chaos waiting to happen. Isiah and I have had our issues that I won’t touch on. But because of that drama I had and maybe I still am having some trust issues. But the more we talk the more we are willing to compromise with each other I’m willing to trust him now. If you can’t trust the person you are with explain to yourself why you can’t trust them. Write it down and then share with them why you can’t trust them. Ask them if they are willing to work the problem out. If they are texting someone of the opposite sex and you aren’t comfortable with it don’t hold it in tell them to stop texting them or tell them they don’t have to talk all day every day. If that other person is calling them baby be mature and tell your boyfriend or girlfriend to stop talking to them loose contact with and block there number, facebook twitter etc.

Rule 2 Communication!
Sometimes it’s hard to get boys to talk. Sometimes I have to drill things out of Isiah but just small things. If you have to drill important things out of your boyfriend or girlfriend then there is a problem. I’m not saying you have to go into a relationship knowing everything about who you are dating that’s another post. If you can’t have a conversation with the person you are with maybe because they are shy don’t give up. Just work with them and allow them to get comfortable with you. I’m shy and Isiah and I can text about everything but it’s hard for me to talk on the phone with him. When we are together we can laugh and joke about anything. To help overcome I guess you could say being nervous to talk on the phone. Make a list of things to talk about. Yes I know it’s crazy but it works! Maybe you could talk about a conversation you guys had while texting. If you guys have just stared dating this is a great opportunity for you to overcome this fear. There is so much to learn about one person. There ambition, favorite color, favorite food etc. Talk about politics or world issues. Talk about what bothers you and what you expect out of a relationship.

Rule 3 Respect
This topic is more for males to learn. These days guys don’t know how to respect females. They are calling females bad or sexy and fine. Well that’s not respect and if you really like your girlfriend for who she is respect her and call her beautiful or pretty and I promise you she will look at you differently. If you’re a female and your boyfriend calls you bad and fine tell him to read this. You should be with a guy that reminds you how beautiful you are almost every day. If you don’t want to have sex but the person you’re with is putting pressure on you to do so. There is one option to solve this one you can leave them

I'm back!

Well nothing is really new besides that I'm in a relationship and SCHOOL IS OVER.

After knowing my boyfriend for about three years we are now official. We have had an on and off friendship and sometimes that person your suppose to be with IS RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU. If you aren’t ready to be in a relationship just simply tell that person that wants to be with you that you aren’t ready. If they aren’t willing to wait you aren’t suppose to be with them. If someone claims they love you or really have deep feelings for you then they would wait. Isiah (my boyfriend) has been telling me that he loves me for about a year maybe a year and a half. I wasn’t ready to be in a relationship (Well I was scared). We stopped talking AGAIN and then we started talking again had a disagreement stop talking AGAIN. He sent me his number on facebook and weeks after he sent it, I texted him. I made it clear I wasn’t dating until the school year is over because I just didn’t have time actually I was scared. Anyways my best friend Jordana and a friend Jay kept telling me relationships aren’t that bad. I was tired of running and decided it was time.  So with that I will be doing post about relationships and giving advice as I learn because it’s been two and a half years since I been in a relationship. I know I will learn a lot from this especially since he will be in Georgia and I’m in North Carolina.  For all you love birds I wish the best for you relationship. If you have any questions or comments feel free to email me or tweet me!
